Bobcat Dairy Bar: Reviews & Ratings
EDIT: 04/24/2025 After reading the reply from the new owners to my initial review from over 1 year ago, I don’t think my original review currently reflects the changes and improvements made to Bobcat. We got takeout today, including a catfish dinner box, cheeseburger, and grilled cheese. They answered the phone quickly and took my order. I was told it would be 20-25 minutes for my order. I set a timer on my phone and arrived at 25 minutes, and my order was ready exactly on time. The lady at the window was lovely and seemed like she actually enjoyed her job! I think the new ownership of bobcat has made amazing improvements in staff, facilities, and table manner. The food was super good, and I absolutely will be back again! Previous review: Took my family to Bobcat for breakfast this morning. We waited over 40 minutes for an order (two pancakes, breakfast sandwich with cheese, two pieces of bacon). The people who ordered after us got their food before we did. Once we did get our food, it was cold. I’m not sure if this was a fluke (it was a Thursday morning) but we left very disappointed with our experience.
I take my family here . great country food.very good home style burgers an fried pickles.we stop here on the way to natural bridge an red river gorge.service ok but could be better but the stop is worth it
Good old fashioned. Lots of nastiga for Lee County natives. Good portion size... meatloaf awesome (needed a bit more heated up) lots of mashed potatoes. Tasted very homemade, to die for hot fudge cake.
Two of us stopped in to eat lunch, we were out on our motorcycles. This place is older, bathroom tiny but clean. Good parking for bikes. You can get a menu at the counter, sit down anywhere and have a look, then go back to the counter to order, they will bring it to you when it’s ready. Service was good, food was great. Depending on what you order, it can take longer. They make it fresh. I had the chicken strips, fries and cole slaw. It was all good, chicken was very tender and the breading was light, not heavy and greasy. Friend of mine had a double cheeseburger, man it looked soooo good. He said it was really good and fresh. I would absolutely stop here again. This was on 4-18-25
Stopped here driving back to Texas from Gorge Underground. Pleasant and helpful staff. Burgers and fries hit the spot after kayaking in the mine. Didn't have dessert but this appears to be the place to be for milkshakes.
Stopped in while visiting from out of town and was looking for a good breakfast, and we found it here. Word of advice: get up early if you want biscuits. We were there before 9AM and I was able to snag the last biscuits. Lots of local memorabilia and plenty of good inexpensive comfort food.
Driving through the area and just happened to pass this gem when we were hungry for a late lunch. Staff was so friendly. We all had burger and fries. Delish!! For dessert we had a double chocolate sugar cone, a peanut butter cup milkshake, and a sundae with perfectly yummy toppings. Price was very reasonable considering what we got. Definitely recommend stopping by if you are in the area. I'm glad we did.
